Happy New Year!

Sorry for the lack of posts - fighting off a bad cold. I got the issue with Mike's throttle linkage sorted pretty easily... Re-tapped an 8-32 hole to 10-32, and got a new screw (I will try to find the correct slotted fillister head screw Monday when the bolt place opens up). This linkage corrects the slow throttle response I was seeing with the "pull" throttle.



Spent the remainder of today trying to fabricate some metal pieces to fill in the gaps between the later tanks and the '38 skull-face dash. These will get welded in the positions shown, then a little Bondo to smooth it all out... That's the theory anyway.



Finally, a non-M/C post of two of my favorite guys, standing in front of Santa Fe 4-8-4 #2926. Those are 80" drivers. Built for speed...
