Three generations of our family have now driven our '63 Sprite. Comparing the Sprite driving experience to his vast array of other driving experiences (Mom's van), he declared:
1) The Sprite is cool and fun to drive.
2) I like fast steering.
3) Can we paint it?
He did very well with the clutch. Unfortunately, I seem to be the only one in Seattle who can successfully pull the starter cable. This may prove troublesome if he stalls the engine on the other side of town...
Hmm. The following are some embellishments from someone with a little more Sprite "stick time":

2) I like fast steering (until you hit a big patch of ice, keep clean underwear handy).
3) Can we paint it? (I wished I could afford to paint it the whole time I was driving it too).
