Screwed
Fooling around with the thread cutting capability of the lathe earlier tonight. I tried cutting 8 TPI on a 1/2" brass rod I had turned to smooth earlier. You can see I stopped before I had cut to the full depth.
Considering I still have no manual, I was pretty pleased with the outcome. Had to laugh though. Wasn't till I had stopped that I realized I had cut lefthand threads... Dyslexia's a bitch! Good thing this was just for fun.

The options for thread cutting are mind boggling (LH, RH, pitch, etc). Look at the threads on a toothpaste tube some time. You can cut those on a lathe too.
