Somewhere in the West...

This photo is for Syd-Kid, the photographer in the family. Borrowed from JJ. This photo is epic on so many levels...

Decals

I got my patent decals (from Carl's Cycle Supply) put on the oil tank. I am pretty sure this will add a couple of mph on the top end...

Also added the U.S. flag on the front fender for the Cossacks livery. Nice day here, so I rode both the 45" and the "U".

Gypsy Tour

Surfing CL Seattle last night, and saw an ad for a 1938 American Motorcycle Association Gypsy Tour belt buckle. It's in immaculate condition, and it's mine now. Here it is:

The lady I bought it from told me her father rode in Philadelphia before WWII, and this was in a cedar chest with his WWII Army uniform. It has never been used.

Bootz

Cossack Boots arrived:

They fit pretty nice, but every time I put them on, I feel like I'm getting ready to attend some leather fetish convention... Searching online for info about riding boots leads one down some pretty dark alleys...
